visualizing a career
We created this visual resumé for a consultant who wanted to show off her years of experience across many business sectors and skill-sets.
Instead of paragraphs or a list explaining her job history, We designed a timeline showing where she worked and for how long. Instead of a simple list of projects, we created matrix organized and color coordinated by sector, with each project tagged across many categories.
This approach allows for the viewer to quickly understand the breadth of her experience and to easily drill into specific areas of interest. Hopefully this sets her apart from other job candidates!

We designed this timeline to represent her job history. We used different colors to represent different employers, and tints of the same color to represent different positions with the same employer.
